Hi all, as the title states i am attempting a new build and have pretty much chosen what i want. Now what im after is the rundown on if my components will run in harmony. I am already over budget but hopefully over for a good reason :)

Here is what i am upgrading from,

AMD Phenom 2 x4 840 OC to 3.9ghz
ASUS m4a78l te mobo
Corsair vengeance 8gb low profile
ASUS HD7770 2gb
1x IDE 120 gb hdd
1x sata 160 gb hdd
1 x dvd r/w drive
silent knight 2 air cooler
450w PS

This runs quite well but struggles at quite few things.

This is what I am planning on running,

i5 3570k (want 4.5ghz)
ASUS p8z77 v pro mobo
Corsair vengeance 8gb low profile (plus the other 8gb from old system) = 16 gb Corsair vengeance lp
ASUS HD7770 2gb (from old system) (might crossfire in future)
ASUS Xonar DG 5.1 sound card
1 x ocz agility 3 120gb ssd
1 x WD caviar green 1tb hdd 7200 rpm 64mb cache
1 x sony 24x dvd r/w
Corsair H80 liquid cooler
fractal design core 3000 case with 3 fans
Corsair tx850m 850 watt PSU

this is all from amazon.co.uk and totals £730.00 GBP

Do you think this system will run ok and will make me happy ?

If the two RAM modules are the same, it show work fine. If let's say one is 1333 and another is 1600, you will probably run into some problems.

Do you really need the sound card? You probably won't notice much of a difference.

A few comments.
- Drop the sound card and save cash, the integrated ones are good already.
- Agility 3 sucks, it has a high failure rate.
- You're spending too much on the motherboard and too less on the GPU.
- Drop the H80, high-end aircoolers pretty much outperform it.
- PSU is overkill even with 2 or 3-way Crossfire, you only need 500w for a single 7770

cheers for the reply, i went to asus psu calculator and that recommended for 750w, would an air cooler be better ?
I already have the gpu from earlier on in the year so will follow me to this one.

All the ram will be the same.
