Speed of Bluetooth Adapter verses USB Cable?

Hi.

I'm just thinking about whether or not to invest in a USB dongle/adapter for
use with my Nokia 7610 and Nokia PC Suite.

I currently use the USB cable that was supplied with the phone, however the
convenience of the bluetooth sounds good, so you don't have to keep
plugging/unplugging the phone (lazy I know!).

Can anyone give me some sort of idea of a speed comparison for transferring
files, as a friend of mine seems to think that the bluetooth is slower.

Also, has anyone had any problems/compatabiity issues with bluetooth that I
should avoid, and can anyone reccommend a good adapter to me? Does the
coverage range vary between adapters? Most I have seen quote 10 metres,
although I have seen one quote a figure of 25 metres.

I have a 7610, and use Bluetooth at work, and the cable at home. The cable
is much more convenient, particularly as there is a problem with PC-Suite
and Bluetooth on the 7610, which means you have to pair the devices every
time you reboot your PC. That takes much longer than plugging the cable in.

I am thinking of buying anther cable and forgetting the Bluetooth.

Apparently, the phone is only capable of 10 metres, so it won't matter how
far the dongle will transmit.
