My older Toshiba laptop burned and died, so what better a time to upgrade to a nice desktop?

Budget Range: ≈ $1000; Needs to be close, but not that much of an issue

Oh one thing you should get the 212 Evo instead of the 212+ - stronger fan, better heat sink, and better thermal compound included.

Well shoot, I had already ordered the 212+ before I saw your last post. I at least have some Arctic Silver 5, which will do the trick.
