Wait for cyber monday?

im building a new system in the first couple weeks of november, and the video card is the thing i would like to go on sale so i could get a gtx 680 or 7970ghz edition. how good are cyber monday deals for computer parts? its my first build so i havent been around long enough to see the sales that go on at holidays

Cyber Mondays in the past has been disappointing.

Generally high end stuff isn't discounted much form Black Friday/Cyber Monday, usually only the lower end (think 7700 series) has any real deals. See which one you want to get and wait till it goes on sale. Sometimes you can also find the ads ahead of time online to help you make a decision.

The 79xx series are already offering the free 3 game bundle, so just check the sites daily for a price cut.

Black Friday/ Cyber Monday is disapointing IDK why a lot of people are always asking if they should wait till then if its pretty useless when you can get your stuff now
