Hi what would be a good graphics card for under $150
Im building a Budget Gaming PC

These below are what i would like but doesn't have to be the same

Website: Newegg.ca

GPU Type: NVIDIA

Condition: Refurbished Or New Mostly Refurbrished

Thanks in advance :)

I would NOT recommend the GTX280.

It's VERY old and requires HEAPS of power, which means you'll have to get a beefier PSU, which in turn means more money added to the cost of your build.

The GTX550 Ti is a very modest card, however, I would feel more comfortable if you spent an extra few $$$ on a Radeon HD6850/HD6870 or GTX560.

GTX460 is a very good card still, however, as I've previously stated, I would feel more comfortable if you get something more modern like a GTX560 or Radeon HD6850 as they are only one generation old.

Also, an AMD build wouldn't lock you to certain GPU's.

:) The GTX560 may perform better on some Nvidia sponsored titles such as BF3, but for everything else, they're back in forth performance wise.

I would go with whichever has the price you're looking for.

Well if you REALLY want an Nvidia card, I'd say the best card on your budget would be the 560. But right now you can get a 560 TI for Only $180 after rebate, so I'd say its worth the extra bucks for the added performance.

On the radeon side of things, the 6870 would be your best bet. It offers fine performance for the price, coming in at only $155 after rebate.
