More about will 2100 1ghz work build
  1. read the asrock page for the mb to see the cpu compatibility list . But yes an i3 will fit

but you dont need 16 gig of RAM , and the mb is too cheap
  2. I need a mobo for around $60 that can go up to 1600ghz or w/e it is for ram speed so when I get an i7 I`ll be good.

And yes, you have no idea what I do on my 23' touchscreen :) right now I have 4GB and I can only keep like 5 programs open with only like 8 tabs at once with little lag.

I ask because it says different htings like sandy and ivy bridge, idk what the i3 2100 has so I`m asking :P
  3. first let me save for you some bucks
♦ 16 gigs of ram is overkill even for high end builds you never go anyway further than 8 gigs of ram.

if you cant afford an i5 just pay more $10 and get the new ivy bridge i3 3220.
  4. Guys stop telling me all this random shi*t, I just wanna know if mobo will compat with this build of i3
  5. [:panicmaster85:9] [:panicmaster85:8] their just trying to help... yes it will fit but it may fail not that far in the future, SOOO get 8gb or ram and a better mobo

so go with 8 gigs of ram , 16 gigs is completely overkill
  7. Yeah, considering you can find almost every answer on here on the internet without posting anywhere (hell, well more than half my responses are from actually digging into simple google search results), some "askers" can be very rude.
