I have been thinking of purchasing/building a PC for almost a year now, and it's almost time. I have done countless hours of research and asked several questions on the forum and I think I'm almost ready. I'm 14, turning 15 in December, and would use the PC for gaming, school, web, and movies. My plan since last December has been to purchase all the parts for the PC on Black Friday, so It's getting closer and it would help me out a ton if you would look at the build. Feel free to make any suggestions!

Approx. Purchase date: Black Friday

Budget Range: >$1400 (with mouse, keyboard and monitor)

System Usage: Gaming, (BF3, Dishonored, Assassin's Creed III, Far Cry 3, Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, Sleeping Dogs, etc.) School, web, video/photo editing

Are you buying a monitor: Yes

Do you need to buy OS: Yes

Preffered websites for parts: microcenter.com, newegg.com

Location: St. Louis, Missouri

How is everything? Any suggestions? How can I tell if everything's compatible? Can you give me recommendations on mice, keyboards, and monitors? Also how's the PSU?

Nice build and just that much better with the addition of G-units parts.

If your plan on doing some extreme overclocking then i would recommend a Noctua dh-14 cooler over the 212EVO because it does cool a bit better, but you pay for it. The EVO is great for the price.

To check if the stuff is compatible (which it is) you could always check out:

For a mouse i would recommend a Razer Deathadder and a Logitech G110 for the keyboard.

Monitors are personal preference but i would recommend most from Asus. Dell also has nice screens but there are so many out there its tough to narrow it down.

Good luck with the build it looks solid my friend.
