More about forcing directx
  1. No, it need to be a setting on the applications.
  2. On most of cases, you will have to force the applications to use DX 11, applications that support it, have an option to enable it, otherway you will probably be running the application with DX 9.
  3. may i ask you why you want to do so?
  4. mostly for benchmarking ,, games like BF3 I can't change the directx version from the game menu and i don't know how
  5. Some games have an alternate version of the .exe to run the game for different DX versions. I have not heard of a game that requires DX11 yet, they always offer a DX9 version. Whether it's an in game option, or a different .exe, it should be there.

Benchmarks may be different. It wouldn't be a very good benchmark comparison if you were using a different DX version than what you are comparing to.

maybe DICE using the same method with BF3 as they did in BFBC2. with BFBC2 the game will automatically use the highest level of Direct X available to the card. there were work around to force the game running in dx10 or dx9 but i forgot how to do it. you can try googling the subject
  7. already tried google of course but I couldn't find a successful way to do so

Is there a reason you want to use DX9 instead of DX11? If you are attempting to get higher FPS, it doesn't work that way. DX11, with the same settings as DX9, is faster.
  9. I don't need higher fps I run any game with 60+ fps on my rig ,, That is for bench-marking only
