hello everybody
I have a problem ith pmy sound card SB live!
i have plugged everything correctly, and everything used to work very well.
but now i can't head anysound anymore.
I have reinstalled the driver of SB live! and restarted the computer but
still nothing works-> i can hear no sound from Windows Media player nor any
other player except the test sound in the SB player: "Creative AudioHQ".
The audio properties are correctly configurated and set to "SB Live! Audio
[D000]" and the volume control is in its maximum.

Uninstall the SB software.
Turn off the PC and physically remove the SB card.
Turn on the PC and let Windows complete its startup. Ensure that there are
NO references left in the Device Manager to the SB card.
Turn off the PC.
Physically reinstall the card .... if possible in an alternative PCI slot.
DO NOT use the PCI slot next to the AGP port as it is KNOWN to cause
problems. If possible, use the PCI slot FURTHEST away from the AGP slot.
Turn on the PC. See if XP installs the correct drivers by itself. Ensure
the speakers are turned on and connected to the right output sockets of the
SB card.
How is it working now?
