AMD A10-5800k Heat Question

I just built my PC a few months back and had to go with the A4 over the A10 at the time. Now that I am ready to upgrade to the 10 I have a question I can NOT seem to find the answer too.

I keep reading that the stock heatsink and fan does not keep the A10 cool when people start to overclock it (unsure if it's from the bios auto tune or custom). My question is does anyone run this at either balance or performance and not have a heat problem with the stock heatsink? I am just really paranoid that I will end up messing something up if I have to add that EVO heatsink and am trying to avoid it.

I guess the same question goes too if anyone has the A4 as well. Any heat problems with you switch to performance?

I would not try to overclock with the stock heatsink and fan! The thing with the hyper 212 EVO is you have to be careful with case clearence and memory clearence, the EVO has a height of 160mm can cause clearence problems, if you have low profile memory that should not be a problem.

I know you wouldn't overclock with the stock heatsink. I actually have no real intention to OC so that's why I was asking if the heatsink it comes with is enough to keep it cool just stock.

1 x ASUS F2A55-M LK PLUS FM2 AMD A55 (Hudson D2) Micro ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

1 x AMD A4-5300 Trinity 3.4GHz (3.6GHz Turbo) Socket FM2 65W Dual-Core Desktop APU (CPU + GPU) with DirectX 11 Graphic AMD Radeon HD 7480D AD5300OKHJBOX

1 x Western Digital WD Blue WD2500AAKX 250GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive

1 x Rosewill R103A Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case with 350W 20+4 pin connector Power Supply

2 x G.SKILL Value 4GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333

I know the RAM is slower then I should have with this APU, didn't learn about that till after I put this together. I am actually very happy with this build but well, I want faster... Thanks for the fast responses.

I overclocked my brand new A10-5800K to 3,9Ghz (very small difference) with a turbo mode onto 4,3Ghz. I don't really notice it being better in gaming, but the BIOS of a FM2A85X Extreme4-M says that its maximum overlocking capability is 6,3Ghz. I also overclocked the iGPU to 450mhz and so the Ram from 1600 to 1648
