This build is mainly for gaming, though I do video editings and other stuff. I'm also a heavy multi-tasker on games

PSU : Cooler Master Silent Pro Gold 800watts
Casing : CoolerMaster HAF X Clear Side
CPU : Intel Core i7 3770k 3.5Ghz (Quad Core) (Ivy)
MOBO : lga1155 MSI Z77A MPOWER Big Bang
Ram : Corsair Dominator Platinum (Dual) 2x4gb ddr3 1866 CL9
Monitor : LED 23" Samsung
HDD : SATA2 500Gig Seagate 7200rpm
SSD : OCZ Vertex 4 128gb sata 3
vga : Sapphire HD 7870 256bit/2gb (OC Ed) <------------- ALREADY HAVE ONE
Heatsink : Cooler Master (Hyper 212 Evo) CPU Cooler

What do you guys think? isn't 1866 better than 1600 for the rams?

I'm planning to crossfire my vga in the near future.

I'll also buy an Corsair H100 to replace the Hyper 212 when I have enough money, think its worth it? the Hyper 212 will go to my sisters computer incase your wondering where it'll go.

Please rate!

Gonna buy these first week of November.

I wouldn't buy any kind of closed loop cooling. Air coolers are generally cheaper and perform better.

No point in getting 1866; you hit diminishing returns. Dominator is overpriced too.

Get a cheaper mobo. Z77 Extreme4 or GA-Z77X-D3H is my pick. Newegg throws in 8GB free RAM with the Extreme4 currently.

CM PSUs aren't that great; get Antec, be-Quiet, Corsair, Z/ZT/ZS OCZ, PCP&C, newer Rosewill, Seasonic, or XFX. 700W+ is enough for 7870CF.

You may want a larger HDD than 500GB.

EDIT: HAF X is a bit overpriced/overkill as well.

before the dominator I was considering Gskill rams, specifically the Ripjaw ones 2x4 kit, vengeance kinda look ugly with the green color

I think I'm going with Seasonic X760 760w one. god why is newegg not available internationally T.T
