Waiting for parts to come in the mail, spent about 850 including OS and keyboard/mouse -- let me know if this build will we plenty powerful and if it will produce 120hz on my viewsonic 3d monitor, sidenote; do I HAVE to have the 3d glasses to enable 3d on my monitor or just an nvidia card? I only want the refresh rate to be high, don't care about 3d

They should all fit, just a few comments.

- ModXStream sucks, really. Please consider more reputable brands for PSUs.
- The 550 Ti isn't that great either. You're better off with a 7770 or 7850.
- No HDD?

And no, you don't need 3D glasses. The 120Hz monitor is wasted on the GPU choice though, it'll never get to the monitor's full potential.

AM3+ Is backwards compatible if I remember correctly....
It should be all fine, the 550ti will get you absolutely nowhere, I would aim for a better Nvidia card, because of your monitor, just so the option is there for you later.

Wait you guys are saying the 550ti won't be able to support 120hz on my 3d monitor? I find that hard to believe. I'm also only using it for counter strike so I won't need it for very graphic orientated games

The 550 Ti won't be powerful enough to produce anything near 120fps to make good use of your 120Hz monitor. More so on 3D games if you're planning to.

None of these have CS but you can use them as reference as to how the 550 Ti's performance is. I don't think even nVidia fanboys would say the 550 Ti would be a recommendable card.
