My Lexmark Z42 has started feeding itself the whole stack of paper that is put in the load tray when it prints. It prints fine and works if I load every page by hand, but that sucks. If I have 20 pages or so, it tries sucking all of them in at once then gets jammed. I think theAnyone know of a simple fix that I can do for this to prevent it from happening in the future?

Hey K, Is your paper dry, if it gets a little damp it will all stick together and feed through like that, either that or your printer needs a clean, have you done a lot of printing wth it?
Papers dry, the thing is clean. I do print a lot with it. It looks like the mechanism that is responsible for holding the paper in the tray and loading the sheets just isn't doing its job right. It seems very weak and if you put a nice sized stack of paper in the tray, the mechanism can't handle it and all the paper gets loaded down too far. I'm thinking of taking it apart and seeing if I can't see what is causing this. Might be a bad spring or something.
