Problems with Gigabyte 7950

Alright so I finally decided on getting this card and got it recently this afternoon. The first thing that came to mind after I installed the card/drivers was to test it out on Saints Row 3. I maxed every setting possible AA, Textures, etc on a 1600x900 monitor. Even with 3GB of DDR5 VRAM it still seems to lag when it's rendering out the cities and various other things. Later on I tried Battlefield with every setting maxed and it ran perfectly to my surprise with just a tiny bit of lag in one certain area. Now my question is why is my performance much lower on Saints Row 3 compared to Battlefield 3.

Could be immature drivers. What's the rest of your specs?
