Thumb drive only detected on rear USB outlets Tags: Drivers USB USB Drive Windows 7 Last response: February 19, 2012 4:42 AM in Windows 7 Share tecknowledgist February 18, 2012 3:37:05 PM Hello, Like the title says, I have a thumb drive that my desktop PC won't detect when I plug it into the USB outlets in the front of the box. It pops up just fine when I plug it into the back. Other USB devices work fine with the front USB outlets. The thumb drive works fine on my laptop and on other computers. I have tried unplugging my power source to reboot the motherboard, and this didn't fix the problem. I am running windows 7 ultimate on an HP Pavilion. Please let me know if you need any more info. Thank you. More about : thumb drive detected rear usb outlets Dooglies February 19, 2012 4:42:27 AM This could be related to my problem. If you find a solution please let me know.
