I am upgrading parts in my computer and want to know what you think. This is for a budget gaming build, nothing special. I've been looking for a good graphics card & power supply unit, so I need your opinions please.

Do you think this goes together?

And then my current parts I have now:
- AMD Athlon II x220 Processor (Upgrading eventually to Phenom Black Edition)
- ASUS M5A88-M AM3+ Motherboard
- 8GB RAM (Upgrading to 8GB Ripjaw X Series eventually)
- Apevia X-Trooper Case (Not sure if that matters).
- No graphics card (Hence why I'm getting one. The on-board is ***)
- Bostec 250W PSU (Upgrading to the one above, possibly)

So my question is? Is there any incompatibilities I'm not seeing? Is this good enough, etc?

600w is way more than enough for your setup, switch to this:

CORSAIR Builder Series CX600 V2 $67.99, and comes with a $20
rebate which makes it $47.99

With the money saved upgrade to a 7770.


There are nice MSI or sapphire ghz edition versions. After rebates they can be as low as $109.99


Leaves some extra for your cpu upgrade, a nice 965 BE would be a ideal partner for the GPU.

The 7770 is slightly better than a 6850 basically.

The gtx 650 is basically equal to the 550 ti, 5% less performance with better energy use.
