First build, need a few suggestions

So far I have http://pcpartpicker.com/p/lw16

My questions are:

1) Do I need a CPU cooler? and if so, what would you suggest?

2) How much RAM should I get? The motherboard comes with 8gb (2x4gb) free, but I kinda want to get 16gb. I have heard though that 2x8gb is better than 4x4gb.

3) Any suggestions on an optical drive?

4) What should I get for the power supply?

Some info: I'm planning on having a 3 monitor setup for gaming, and whatever else I may need it for in the future.

    1) The i7-3770K comes with a stock cooler, it is sufficient to keep the CPU cool at stock clocks. You will need an aftermarket CPU if you plan to a) overclock and/or b) want to reduce noise levels (the stock cooler can be noisy).

    2) How much RAM depends on what you will use the computer for.

    3) http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-optical-drive-drw24b1stblkbas $20 @ Newegg

    4) If you're only ever going to use one GTX 680:
    Rosewill Capstone-550M ($80 @ Newegg)
If you'e going to SLI in the future:
    Rosewill Capstone-750M ($105 @ Amazon)
