Need help with my graphic card

Hello,
I currently using a Nvidia Geforce GT 220, i dont know why it keep shutting down i checked the temp by HW Monitoring it raised really fast, i took the graphic card out and cleaned it, so no dust, the fan are fine, but i see the thermal paste are dried, idk it's because of the thermal paste or something else, give me some idea please
