My brother is stationed in Germany and called me this weekend saying that his computer is acting up. The voltage for +5V is occaisionally dropping to 4.3V. The other voltage readings are fine. He has an enermax 330W power supply. Could this be a problem with the power company? Should he get an APS or has the power supply gone bad?

Suggestions please.

What is he running? He might be overloading it.
Or the PSU might be going bad. How old is it?

I think you need new power supply but the load is also a good question i agree that you should check age as well

4.3 means either it's overloaded or it's bad.

Anything below 4.9 is a bad sign...
