Get rid of the Sabertooth, it heats up very easily because of the "armor" Get the Gigabyte Z77X D3H instead.

Get the OCZ Vertex 4 SSD, its faster and more reliable.

For the GPU, get a 7970GHz Edition, faster and a bit cheaper.

You want a modular PSU at this budget, get the Corsair HX750.

That 8ms response time doesnt look good to me. Thats just me.

8/10. Nice job!

^ Same advice as above except for the monitor.

Get low profile RAM like G.Skill Ares, dont want it to conflict with the CPU heatsink.

The 8ms response time is somewhat unavoidable since the screen is an IPS panel. Whether you think the IPS' colour reproduction is worth it for the editing or a TN for its speed in gaming is up to you.

what do you mean by 7970GHz Edition?

There are two kinds of HD7970's, vanilla 7970's and 7970 Ghz editions. The Ghz cards have a different BIOS that increases the performance gained from the 12.7 drivers, come higher clocked than the vanilla cards and have some extra features. They are usually $30 more than standard 7970's.
So far it seems you cant flash the Ghz BIOS onto a vanilla card.
