Has anyone used PowMax? I am curious on reliability. I need approximatly 370W (ie a 400W) and am balking slightly at the cost of an Enermax.

A Leadman POWMAX is a good, reliable power supply. Enermax may be better, as LHGPooBaa mentioned, (mostly because of the positioning of the dual-fans and the noise reduction) but there is absolutely nothing wrong with a Leadman. I use them quite a bit.

I believe that's what I have. A 500w powmax. The core is Leadman. They market it as a Powmax. The fan is a straight blow through, unlike the Enermax, which pull a certain amount of air directly off the cpu hsf. The layout is called nATX, or something like that. If you don't have any other fans in your case, or are missing a blowhole above the psu, then it might make a difference aircooling. Psu's are made to take some heat.

Anyway, mine does good with a 1.4g a7v133. With power to spare (heh).

$74 with s/h.
