Hi,

Does the name of the faulty driver appears in the error message?
Could you please send us the error message that appears?

Before troubleshooting your computer I propose to you to update your system,
the drivers, and the antivirus software if you have one.

sorry, but all that comes up is a message saying windows
has recovered from a fatal error. when i send the report
the crash analysis says a device driver caused the
problem and that microsoft is unable to find the cause.
updates have had no effect on the problem.

Hi,

Could you please check the system event viewer and check if you have an
error ID 1001, Source Save Dump. If yes could you send to me the exact error
message that appears?

If you want to know exactly to know which driver is faulty a dump analysis
is needed.
Such analysis needs strong skills in debugging and cannot be done via
newsgroup.
