So i have been thinking about getting the Gtx 670 for a while, but haven't bothered even saving up for it. I plan to soon. I plan to purchase the card around black friday or cyber monday. Which date is better? I only need the 2 GB version. My budget is 400-430.
I play games ranging from cs-bf3, i do quite a lot of video editing. I have a 600 watt CORSAIR Gaming Series PSU. I have a x6 1600t cpu 8 gig ram my case is Antec Three Hundred Two. I will be doing a bit of oc, and i play on a 1920x1080 resolution monitor. I't cant be a reference design, like the evga ones.

Not sure which day is better, but I know that standard market price on a GTX670 is ~$400.

Just get one from Gigabyte, ASUS or MSI, whichever's cheaper on the day. They will all perform the same (if at the same clocks) and all have very good cooling.

You say no EVGA cards in the OP, but then ask about EVGA cards?
That card has the same cooler as reference design, its just a bit curvier looking.

Reference design cooling doesn't perform as well as custom (unless you have a cramped case with no airflow, then it will perform better). Just remember that when you install the card, its upside down and you can only see the PCB. So the looks of its cooling doesn't really matter (Which is annoying, because my Sapphire looks awesome).
