Why wont my secure WAP2 wifi stay secured

Hello,
I have a linksys router and a time warner modem, we have not had any problems until the past month, and the problem gets worse every day. Our secure WAP2 comes unsecure and changes to the name "linksys". The connectivity has been 2 bars at best, and out lap tops, and iphones will not stay connected to wifi. occasoinally my iphone says it cannot find the network. this happened with our Iphone 3 and 3GS, and now our new 3GS and 4. all software on the computers and iphones is up to date, and we are one room away from the router and modem

Try updating the firmware on the Router. It could also be going bad, some Linksys models have a pretty bad reliability history with WiFi.
