Hey question about newegg, I have ordered a benq 27 inch monitor from newegg and it is shipping from Georgia? I checked to see if newegg had a warehouse in GA and to make sure it doesn't come from one of those rma warehouses since i've read that people have gotten used items or doa items.

googled the location with newegg and nothing pops up.

hate to sound paranoid and the last thing I want is a $400 monitor becoming a huge hassle.

thanks

Places like NewEgg and Amazon don't like to advertise the locations of their warehouses because then would-be ne'er do wells would know that this particular warehouse has loads of valuable electronics in it. As opposed to a warehouse that might be storing lumber or potted plants. Not much of a black market for those I would expect.

So it doesn't surprise me you don't come up with anything by searching. And if you bought the monitor new from NewEgg, then they will send you a new unit. There are legal restrictions that would prevent them from sending you a used unit and saying it is new. They would have to mark it as refurbished, even if when they get it back and test it, they can't find anything wrong with it. NewEgg is far too well respected a reseller to be pulling that kind of stunt on any sort of large scale and be able to get away with it. I would say you are likely worried about nothing.
