Ok so I have been working on a new build and I currenw more parts before she finished!

I currently have in my old rig which im keeping--

PSU- 450w Coolermaster(hopefuly its enough)
HDD- 500gb Seagate Barra
Case

So basically im gonna need a CPU, MoBo, RAM, GPU and a OS squeezed in there if possible...Im buying tomorrow if I can get a decent list of components.

CPU- Looking at an i5 3470
MoBo- NOT SURE...not looking at overclocking so its not worth me going for a z77 (correct?)
RAM- NOT SURE
GPU- Def NOT SURE...This is what im stressed most about
OS- Bout $90 out the $500..

Cant somebody PLEEASE juggle something decent up for me... :)

Any suggestions on what I should do for CPU, MoBo, AM and GPU with about $400 after I buy Windows 7???

Yeh its for gaming...things like DAYZ and hopefully BF3 with decent settings
I been doin a bit of research and people are sayin the i3 3220 might be a decent choice, then i get stuck on which MoBo ya know. Really want the i5 3470 but i its worth spending the extra...I wanna go buy it all tomorrow so im hoping someone canput together a decent build with the money I got. Basically $500 minus $90 for OS o I got $410 for CPU, MoBo, RAM and GPU...
RAM- G.SKILL RIPJAWS 2X4GB $45 so say $365 for CPU, MoBo and GPU...

I dunno...Im so confused

i3>Phenom in almost everything, even a Pentium could do better.

You could get a better PSU than the Basiq for cheaper (Seasonic Made)

This outperforms the build above BY FAR, and the GTX 660 has PhysX, if you're playing things like Borderlands 2. If not, the HD 7870 is a better choice, but you won't have PhysX or CUDA Cores. Both will max out BF3 at 90+ fps.

If you take out the PSU it goes under your budget of $500.

The Patriot Viper 2 has the same specs as the Mushkin and is on sale atm.

STRICTLY GAMING

If you only need the performance of the above build (monstersti) get a Pentium and a better GPU.

This build is better than monstersti's build for gaming, and is also cheaper.
