So I upgraded my HD radeon 4200 to a HD radeon 7770 ghz (with new power supply) to play better games. The main problem is when I log in to either Diablo 3 or Starcraft 2 in not even 10 seconds it brings me to the desktop. it's very odd why its minimizing itself and not changing the cursor from Diablo 3 back to a normal cursor on Windows 7. I went to get my computer upgraded in Future Shop.
This is a list that I have already done. Please tell whats next on the list.
-Uninstalled games, reinstalled them (same problem exists)
-Uninstalled games, defragged, reinstalled them (same problem exists)
-I went through MSconfig hid all the microsoft programs and disable all to restart the computer. (Didn't make a dent) (sept 1)
-I went through the HP gaming Diagnostic tools PCdoctor and the tests were almost done, but the shader rendering DX 10 test was inconclusive, it stopped the whole process and a display box on the bottom says, ""Display driver AMD stopped responding and has successfully recovered." (sept 2)
-I Installed the latest drivers (sept 2)
-Ran Diablo 3, problem still persists and an error code at the bottom says "Display driver AMD stopped responding and has successfully recovered."
Would it be wise to uninstall my drivers in Safe Mode and install the latest drivers or use some driver fusion or driver sweeper. FYI, I don't know exactly how those programs work and how they should be operated
