Periodic Framerate lag On all games (even Single player)

Hello guys ,
I am tired of the periodic lag that spikes suddenly while playing ANY GAME (Battlefield BC2 , Call of duty etc.).When I start playing the game runs smooth for about 20 - 30 min and then a lag spikes reducing the frame rate for 5 min and the game is not playable. after 5 min it again runs smooth and so on it goes on and on. i have surfed the net for about 3 months and cannot find a solution . Please help

If you can, list the hardware specs of the system, Cpu, Memory, graphics card you are using.That will help. I would also keep a check on your Cpu temps as the cause could be due to the cpu getting too hot. Thermal protection may be kicking in due to heat.
What that does is lower the cpu running speed to cool it down. By the look of it that is what is likely to be happening.

I have cleaned all the dust in the cpu
and do u have any software to see my hadware specs
