my tf2 wont run and i dont know what to do about it i click on it to play and it pulls up the preparing to load menu and it never loads help me please

Have you tried to verify the integrity of the game cache? In order to do that, I think you right-click on the title, choose properties, click the local files tab and it should be the third option.

i have tried that and it didnt work it went to 100% and then i exited it cause it didnt close its self or anything else then tried to play tf2 and it did the same thing with the not loading

Your last resort could be to uninstall the game and re-install it. Have you tried to contact Steam support?
