I've heard high res on low settings is better, my price range is $120-150. Another concern is my gpu has hdmi so to take full advantage of my graphics card would to get a display with HD right? Most displays in my price range only have VGA and are non HD.

Here is my build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/gaFL

Here a few labor day sales i figure i should buy now or wait till november deals.

Between those three I would choose the ASUS display...acer makes lower quality displays ASUS makes mediocre quality displays perfect for budget minded builds.

IPS screens are great for photo editing (not so much for gaming) but the cheap ones are just that .... cheap monitors.

We used to use only Eizo / Nanao screens ($2k range) for AutoCAD work but find the Asus screens in the $250 range now provide more than adequate display capabilities...... we use Dell IPS for the photo stuff. For gaming, hard to argue against the Asus 120 Hz jobs.
