HD7750 vs HD7770 gaming

Would getting a HD7770 over the HD7750 for 720p (1366x768) gaming result in much better performance, or would the HD7750 be good enough on my resolution? Also would a 350w be good enough for both including my i3 2120 and 4gb ram? Any suggestions will be appreciated.

  1. with a 350 watt PSU a 7750 would be a safer bet though at your resolution, i am sure you would be not hurting over that. yes the 7770 is better but the 7750 would be fine depending on what games you want to play.
  2. The 7750 would be the safer bet for a 350W PSU, but at that resolution it should be perfectly fine.

    What games are you playing?
  3. bf3, cod4, minecraft; crysis. Would any one know the fps difference by chance? Thanks!

i've played COD4, BF3 and crysis2 with my 550ti, which is about 3% less in performance of the 7750 (sadly) and i get rather decent frame rates around 35-40 fps @ 1080 with some lowered details in BF3 and crysis2; COD4 is maxed out and gets ~48 fps.
  5. So I guess the 7750 would be fine. It should max out at least minecraft and cod4, just not bf3...
  6. you don't really need a good gpu for minecraft
  7. You will probably be able to manage BF3 on med-low. Probably closer to medium.
