Can I just delete this partition?

I have a big part of my HD (80 GB's) in a partition that was created by Ubuntu. Can I just delete it?

If you see it, it is the 77 GB's. No files associted with it, can I delete it without harming my computer?

I see no reason why you can't delete the partition especially if you installed Ubuntu after you installed Windows. If by some chance deleting the partition deletes the Windows loader it is a simple matter to fix it if you have the Vista or Windows 7 installation disk.

I have backed all my files, so those I do not worry about.

And windows made me create some disks to boot windows.

I will just try it then. Thanks!

Okay, all is good. Deleted, and windows still boots and works.
