Galaxy 660 ti performance issues?

Hey guys. If you hadn't read my thread I started a few minutes ago, I just purchased a Galaxy 660 ti. Based on the benchmarks reviewers had, it showed that the 660 ti had an average fps of 80 for Batman Arkham City on extreme settings and tessellation on high. However, when I set the settings to extreme and high tessellation, the game was bouncing between 30-60 fps at all times. I have V-sync off as well but the game never went over 60 fps. Is there anything I can do to fix this? I have the latest drivers btw.

Processor: Intel Core i5-2400 Sandy Bridge 3.1GHz (3.4GHz Turbo Boost)

RAM: Wintec AMPX 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 and 8gb microcenter branded ram (2 x 4gb)

Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda ST31000524AS 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive

PSU: 600w (forgot the brand)

Graphics: Galaxy GTX 660 ti (obviously)


PS: Just loaded up Crysis 2 on max settings and got 86-130 fps.

Check nvidia control panel 3d settings whether vertical isn't enabled for batman. Also, check CPU usage during lag in batman using control panel performance tab graph.

Ok so I disabled V-sync through the control panel and there definitely is some improvement. I now get an average of about 75 fps. It did dip a few times to 48 fps but that was the lowest it went. Maximum i got about 96 fps. But even this is with DX 11 and tessellation off. So it would be a good deal lower with them on when it shouldn't be.

EDIT: I also have anti-aliasing at 4x msaa, should that be changed?

Well, if that's what you want. It will reduce image quality if you reduce it. Also, did you patch the batman game to the latest patch? There were known many performance issues with it.

I'm fairly certain it is the latest version. I have the Harely Quinn dlc and I've heard that you can't start that dlc until you update to the latest patch. But i'll double check anyways

So I just looked now and it says I have version 1.3. I believe that is the latest version? Please someone tell me it's not lol i'm so bummed this game isn't running as fast as it should.

I don't really know because I don't own the game, but could you check CPU usage?
