Display driver has stopped responding and has recovered

Hi guys
CPU:Intel 2600k
GPU:Radeon hd 7950 gigabyte OC
Motherboard:p 8z68 deluxe/gen3
Ram:Corsair xms3 4gbx2 8gb
Power supply:o CZ ZT 650 watt

My computer has been getting these annoying messages"display driver has stopped responding and has recovered" , all my drivers are up to date, so I don't know what the problem is. please help

Maybe try lowering the clock on the card. Its factory overclocked and sometimes factory overclocks are not stable.

try rolling back and using a slightly older driver(after clearing and installing drivers in safe mode)

It won't let me install in safe mode, it will say "failed to detect driver"
