Graphic card GTX 550 TI

Hello i'm french...
I'd like to order a new graphic card near 130€, 160$
My motherboard is a MSI p7n sli platinum (PCI express 2.0), my CPU is a Quad Processor Q6700 (8M Cache, 2.66 GHz, 1066 MHz FSB), I have a corsair 650 watts, and my actual graphic card is a geforce gtx 9600 by XFX.
I know that the first GTX 550 have bad comment. I want to kwon EVGA GeForce GTX 550 Ti 1 Go is a good choise to me?
If not do you have any advice?

Man, I got one and I am happy with it. You will play some games in high and others in medium, or both mixed. But it is a good card. I recommend.

However, I am changing for a stronger card because I want more power. Just make sure you won't make the same mistake like I did. Know for sure this is the power you need/want.

If you can spend about 30 extra, get the 6870. Otherwise, get the ASUS GTX 550Ti.
