Not trying to start a flame war or anything here, I'm genuinely curious. I know that AMD makes rougly 1/4 of the market's CPUs, while intel makes the other 3/4, and I'd like to know what % of GPUs are made by AMD and nVidia.
I dont think anyone can really answer this accurately so I am gonna throw it out there that nvidia makes 50% of the gpu's out there and AMD makes 50% of the gpus....bc they are the only 2 major companies out there that produce dedicated graphic cards.
now as far as the percentages own people who own each company I would see more people owning nvidia cards than AMD cards but I feel that the gap is getting smaller and smaller as time goes on
A fraction. A very miniscule amount. Why? Because they only make sample/reviewer editions of their GPUs. They send the "blueprints" to their partner manufactures: MSI, Gigabyte, ASUS, Zotac, Galaxy... etc.
