Computer Desk - What would you like

Ok so this thread may not be in the appropriate section, I just couldn't find an appropriate section.

Well I plan on designing and fabricating my own computer desk. I have a workshop where I do all my work, mechanics, electronics, computer, etc. So this is where my PC will be located. I don't have too many space to work with, I like designing and fabricating things so I just figured i'd give it a go and custom fab my own desk.

I'm not that much of a computer guy, but I want the desk as functional as can be. So I'm asking more computer-oriented persons, what would you ideal computer desk include.

- AC outlets, USB ports, headphone and microphone jacks will be built-in the top surface.

- A racing seat will be integrated as an office chair / gaming seat (iRacing and Dirt 3)

- A mechanism will allow for a set of pedal to dissimulate, enabling two modes for the desk (computer working, racing gaming)

- A cutout to keep the beverage safe



Any idea ?

ahahah very good observation. This was a passenger seat from a friend's crashed 2001 Prelude

I rolled mine 3 years ago, the day after my senior prom. I miss that car.
