I have been browsing around for quite a bit but I cannot find the answer to my question/s
1 (the big one) can you use a Nvidia card and an AMD card, but have one to display only on a secondary monitor
2 can you have Nvidia and AMD drivers installed, so it can do a thing sort of like what i have already
I have a 545 and a 9500, 9500 is plugged into my 2ndary monitor, and when i drag a windowed game onto my 2ndary monitor it starts to run off of the 9500 instead of the 545, so is there a similar thing but with different video cards?

It depends on what version of windows you are using.
With windows 7, yes you can have multiple different graphics cards and different drivers.
On an older os, and I think it includes XP, you could have multiple graphics cards, but were limited to one graphics driver.
I can't recall what the rule was in Vista.

Thanks for the quick response, I must ask, do you know if it's just newegg selling the 7850 really cheap for labor day, or that they have amazing deals on the 7850s and the 7850 pe?

I don't know.

I suspect they know something is coming.

Nvidia started to compete in the more midrange with the GTX660ti, an $300 card, and amd had to cut prices.

Perhaps we will see a competitive $200 Nvidia GTX6... card to compete with the 7850.

AMD's cut prices that low on the 7850. It partially the 660ti coming out, but it's also that the Radeon 8000 series isn't too for off anymore, so its prepping for that also.
