how to get the information about my PC's graphic card and how can i confirm that it is working properly or is there any problem ??

Yes sir,actually my videos and movies are being played in windows media player but there is a problem in VLC media player.When i try to play them with VLC ,my pc gets hanged.

Yes sir,i've tried both the versions--the older version and the latest one.

Sir! do you mean the "accelerated video output (overlay)" and "overlay video output" options??? are you talking about these options?
Both the options are "checked".

Try unchecking the first one. If problems still continue, try the other one. If problems still continue, try unchecking both. I don't guarantee that it'll help, but it's worth trying.
