Which build to go with

I'm looking to assemble a PC for the initial purpose of playing games like SWTOR, WoW, D3

My purchase date is between now and February 2013

I have a case/mouse/keyboard/OS/Monitor... all I need is CPU, Motherboard, RAM, Power Supply, and GPU.

I've all ready considered AMD, and have determined that with my budget constraints Intel is the better route.. more specifically the Pentium route as indicated in the System Builder Marathon post.

I've put together two parts lists, they are within $1.00 of eachother, but have different cpu/gpu combinations... my question is which of these two builds would be a better *STARTING POINT* for the aforementioned purpose of playing the games listed.

I should also add that I do have the Optical Drive and a Hard Drive, the hard drive would be upgraded ASAP once assembly is complete

Up to February 2013 is a waaayyy long time. Maybe at the start of 2013 or December 2012 prices of Sandy Bridge processors would be low low low, considering that processor prices go down almost every week.

I wouldn't suggest skimping on the powersupply for either build. But the graphic cards you chose should run fine on them. (but, if you say, upgraded to a 670 later on you would probably have to upgrade your PSU as well)

What games are you talking about (and was res) there are non listed.

games Diablo 3, World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria, Star Wars: The Old Republic

Resolution I don't care so much about.. my monitor is 720 I think?? Either way, playability is top priority for me.. not looking for Ultra this, or High AA or any of that

Just fyi, I know you chose Intel, but the A-10 APU can handle all that at 720p well. (but not so good with higher necessarily, maybe 1600)

A cheap $32 dollar intel board I'm not too sure about, it certainly won't be able to overclock worth anything. But it should work fine.

I looked at the PSU it has surprisingly good reviews on newegg, but a 1/5 ratio of failing xO

I think the 2nd build with the radeon 7770 is the best choice. It has better power consumption that the 550ti as well.
