Which 6950?

Hey could someone just give me a quick confirmation on which of these is better?

Both of these are available quite local to me on an advertising site and listed with the same price.

I’ve read reviews on both but can’t seem to find anything which puts one against the other so some help would be appreciated as I’m not sure which to go for!.

Does the memory size play a big part in this comparison?
Or is it all about the clock speeds?
(sorry, bit of a novice!)

Clock speeds give speed, while memory size allows to load more textures into memory. It is only needed on resolutions above 1920x1080.

I'd go with Gigabyte, their coolers are better.

Yes, no bigger resolution than that.

I note your comment about the cooler - just to note the seller for the Club 3D card states:
"it is fitted with Arctic Cooling Accelero Xtreme 7970 cooler which lowers the temps under load from 80C(on stock cooler) to 58C while being a lot quieter as well"

Does that swing it back the other way?

Compnay websites for the cards and then a "review" - the exact cards i'm looking at are second hand on a local free-ads website.

I'd get the gigabyte one. It's better cooling for sure. It's also clocked higher and has longer warranty.
