HD 5450 not detected by my computer

Hi,
I just installed the ASUS HD 5450 graphics card and it is not being detected. I am able to see a duplicate image on both monitors but my Device Manager can only see the generic card. How do I get my computer to recognise my device?

Did you plug in the monitor into the HD 5450 instead of your motherboard? If not, the card will stay offline.
