Nokia 6600 reset

Hi

I bought a Nokia 6600 mobile phone a few weeks ago and I reset it by pushing
the *#7370# code expecting it to just reset the phone settings e.g own call
sending and divert etc, however it seems to have deleted my messages,
contacts and screensaver.

Is there anyway to get my messages and/or contacts back or do I have to add
my contacts again?

You should have done the *#7780# code instead.

Nope they're history.

Did you not backup your contacts to the SIM ?

Warm reset: *#7780# + PIN ... Reboots, resets INIs, but leaves user
installed apps, photos, data, etc.

Cold reset: *#7370# + PIN ... Factory defaults and WIPES EVERYTHING except
the SIM.
