Hi all,

I've built a CPU with the below coniguration

Asus P8Z77V-LX
i5 3570K
corsair Vengence 4GB RAM
500GB seggate HDD
corsair 500w builder series PSU
Coolermaster elite 311 cabinet

I want to know which graphics card to choose from GTX 550ti, GTX560, 7750HD and 7770HD all from ASUS

It would not be wise to go Crossfire or SLI with that card. They are too weak and will just introduce microstuttering. SLI or CrossFire are meant for high end cards.

As for AMD vs Nvidia. Both have their advantages.

AMD:

* Support for 4 displays (vs 2 for Nvidia)
* Lower power consumption
* Runs cooler
* Comes with a free game

Nvidia:
* Supposedly better drivers
* Supports PhysX ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EWFkDrKvBRU )
* Supports FXAA/TXAA
* Supports Adaptive VSync
* Better 3D technology
* Supports old motherboards with PCIe 1.0

If I missed something, others please correct me :).

I would suggest this HD 7770 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125435 or this GTX 560 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127593

If u wish to play at 1080p GTX 560 (or this HD 6870 that I use and I am perfectly happy http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102948) is better choice. If u play in lower resolutions 7770 OC will probably be enough.

However what I would do is buy this HD 7850: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102999 or if u want to go cheaper the 1GB version: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150617

The price difference with the GTX 560 is small and they are new and much faster cards. Hope I helped

I recommend getting the 7850 if you are around the 200$ budget. Seriously, it overclocks the best, stays low voltage, and you can choose which aftermarket cooler is the best. You can't go wrong with that card. The first card that i was gonna go with was the 7850, but then my budget increased so now I am thinking about getting the 7950, 670, or the 7970. You don't have to worry about that. Just know that I started off going with the 7850.
