Opinions on the 7770?

What does the rest of your computer look like?

Depends on your monitor res I would suggest if you want to be able to max out all current games a 7850/7870 depending on your psu though

I'm on a bit of a budget, so I went with some relatively 'cheaper' parts.

and of course an aftermarket cpu cooler and a power supply that leaves a little space for upgrade.

It's a bit faster than a HD 6870 it will also run cooler and quieter.
I know it's pretty expensive but it's worth every penny.

The nice thing about the 7770 is you get near identical 6850, for less then that card. It's also the fastest performing card around $100. (Nvidia's 550TI is slower then the 7770.) It won't max out newer games but it can provide some good performance. If it's what the budget allows then don't feel bad about getting it.
