OR

Obsidian 550d:

There is a £50 difference between the case, but I am not sure if the 500d is worth an extra £50?? I really want the case to be as quiet as possible, which is why I was thinking about the 550d, but when I think about it, £50 is a lot for making my case quieter.

Another issue is dust, my computer is in a very dusty room and fills with dust pretty fast. The obsidian 550d has alot of dust filters plus you can close off vents you dont need which will make it alot more dust proof.

I have read a lot of reviews on the 300r and everyone says they are really impressed with the case. I'm sure I will be too, but I really need a case which will last me a long time. I think if I buy the 300r I wont be happy with it in a year or two time, and end up getting the 550d or another case anyway.

Please post which case you think I should get and tell me why, If I choose the 300r I can get it quicker, with the 550d I will have to wait until Christmas to get it.

Thanks,

I really could have bought any of the corsair series, but the 300R caught my eye and newegg had an amazing deal on it so I went with it. I am in progress on a build with it. You can order in grommets for the obsidian series and they fit flawlessly in the 300R to note. If you do end up going with one, I have plenty of spared grommets as there are a LOT in the 800D obsidian kit! Have them FS in the FS section.
