I downloaded some programs, but could not read a word, because it is written
in a East-European language (Croatian?). Perhaps I can choose another
language? Dutch, English, German or French would be OK for me.

Yes, it's Croatian lng.
@ http://www.omikron-games.com/wap/en/ are apps in English language.
MultiTecaj is made only for Croatian market (it's a currency converter with
updateable lists from 4 of our major banks), and Moorya (hmmm, translation
to English would be Copper? ) is app that shows messages from users
concerning position of police patrols in the town of Zagreb
Other applications that are available for free:
Alcotest - blood alcohol calculator
MiniMap Dubrovnik - mobile city map of Dubrovnik, HR
MiniMap Zagreb - mobile city map of Zagreb, HR
MiniMap Munich DEMO - mobile city map of Munich, DE
