My computer was on and fully running, i stepped out of the house for 5 minutes and when i came back into the house there was a power surge while i had been out and my computer no longer showed any display. I have it plugged into a surge protector so could it have burned out a motherboard or a power supply? Ive been doing a lot of research and those are the 2 most common thing to go from a power surge. Im not very tech savvy when it comes to computer hardware so i might need help. It isnt the monitor because i use a LCD tv as my monitor and it works fine for xbox or tv just not pc.

My computer has the following
-Gigabyte Z68x-ud3h-b3 motherboard
-MSI N560GTX-Ti twin frozr 2 graphics card
-Thermaltake TR2-600w power supply
-1 TB WD hard drive
-16 GB corsair vengeance RAM
-i7-2600k processor

Any advice would be appreciated! thank you!
