This may sound like an absurd question to some of you, and I may even get hated upon for even asking such a thing.
But will the nVIDIA GTX680 bottleneck a stock-clocked i7-3770K?

Do you mean will a 3770k bottleneck a 680?

If so, the answer is no - not unless you're playing at some tiny resolution like 720p. If you're playing at 1080p, it will not bottleneck at all.

Easy way to find out is test games for a FPS rate in a game and then overclock the processor. Another way you could find out is look for reviews that do just what I said in the last sentence.

I don't think anything can bottleneck that right now.
