Hello, I have just built a new and installed windows 7, but my HDD isn't showing. So here's the story I built my computer. (with both SSD and HDD connected to my mobo) both are SATA and if you need specs it is:
-Samsung 256gb SSD
-Seagate 1TB HDD
I installed windows 7 and all the drivers and I thought my HDD would show up, but it didn't. (on my computer), but on bios it'll show up. So yes it's weird my bios knows my 1TB HDD is there, but my windows doesnt -_- oh please help a desperate fellow. Thanks!

*edit* so the main problem is getting my HDD to show. Because I'm using my SSD for gaming ONLY and the HDD for Pics,Movies,storage; you know what it isss (;
-EVGA|151-SE-E777-K2 X79 FTW (Mobo)
-VGA SAPPHIRE|100351SR HD7970 3
-PSU CORSAIR| HX750 750W RT
-CPU INTEL|CORE I7 3820 3.6G 10M R
-MEM 4Gx2|GEIL GEV38GB1600C9DC R
-SSD 256G|SAMSUNG MZ-7PC256B/WW R
-MEM 8Gx2|PATRIOT PV316G213C1K R
-HDD 1T|WD WD10EURX SATA6G 64M
When I installed windows 7, BOTH my SSD and HDD were connected if that matters.
And I tried a lot of stuff. I even tried some BS method that someone said: I changed the permission, but nothing...
Ugh lol so annoying..
Start menu, type in Disk management. An option about creating and formatting HDD partitions should come up. Enter that and your drive will be there. Initialize it and format using NFTS.
Should then appear as a normal drive.
You will lose some capacity due to formatting. Your 1TB drive will only have 931GB of usable space.
